Hello, I’m Scott Shields, lead craftsman and owner of SLABSHUCKERS LLC Wood Solutions. I’ve been a woodworker for over 25 years and made my first commissioned furniture pieces in the 1990s. I’m an unapologetic wood nerd who loves creating custom pieces and making our customer’s dreams a reality.

While we spend a fair amount of time creating custom live edge pieces, we are a full service woodworking shop. We make heirloom quality pieces in various traditional styles such as Arts and Crafts, Shaker, etc. We make everything from dining room tables to floating shelves, kitchen countertops to solid core mantels, islands to river tables, ceiling beams to charcuterie boards, and much more.

As a veteran-owned small business, we appreciate you and the opportunity to be of service. We aim to provide solutions beyond just a sale. To that end, and in addition to custom woodworking, we also source, dry, and sell unfinished DIY wood materials.
